Back in November, I decided it was time to take Blogger Love one step further and actual call out some love for the bloggers whose content I adore and genuinely believe people should check out and follow, and holy wow, did that post do it's job. So many people followed so many new exciting bloggers and have learnt so much, it's like my heart just exploded with joy.
As you can ever-so rightly imagine, I actually follow quite a few fabulous bloggers, more than I mentioned previously, and because of that, I wanted to put together another post, a part two you could say, of some more of my favourite ladies that I eat up content from like chocolate. Should you check out their stuff? Of course. Should you follow them? Well, that's up to you, but if you want my opinion, I say duh!
1. Happy Indulgence
Jeann was, I think, one of the first bloggers who interacted with my first blog, Book Badger, and from that point on, she's been not only a great follower of mine, but someone I greatly enjoy following. Her content is always on point, and she's one of few book bloggers that I still enjoy book reviews from amongst her fabulous discussions too. She's also got a great youtube channel, sharing book hauls and reviews, and she's recently been on Aussie radio too, promoting books there. With Alia and Jenna in tow too, Happy Indulgence is a bustling place full of wonderful I enjoy visiting.
2. Bookmark Lit
Lauren and I found each other through Top Ten Tuesdays from The Broke and the Bookish, and I've been an avid follower ever since. Her reviews are fun, exciting and not the same you'd find elsewhere, and her variety in discussion posts, from reading, blogging and life are always exciting and something to look forward to. She's so down to earth and honest in all her blogging endeavours, I regularly read everything she posts.
3. Word Revel
Josephine is such a wonderful blogger, but one of her most defining features is her photography that she uses on her blog. It's such a pure and honest type of photography, and I love that she uses her own rather than always using other peoples, it's a rare thing to find in the blogging community lately, and she does it so well. She's not a big book reviewer, but she does draw focus to them in different ways, and her blog just as such a welcoming vibe, it all compliments her content beautifully
4. The Daily Prophecy
Mel has always been a blogger I admire, and right from the start, I fell in love with her passion for books, all things retellings and fairy tellings, (which got me into so many of the retellings I've read!) and her discussion posts are the stuff of joy and pleasure. She's much more reviews focused than the other book bloggers here, but that doesn't mean I like her and her blog any less. She's such a lovely blogger, and Mel is definitely a blogger I follow for herself and her blog second, she's wonderful.
5. The Devil Orders Takeout
Every now and again, I follow blogs that aren't set within a topic I know a lot about, or find myself part of, such as writing a novel for example, but Alyssa is genuinely too much of an awesome person not to be following. She's reminds me so much of Cait (previously mentioned in my previous awesome bloggers posts!) and their friendship is just amazing, but Alyssa's blog, her culture references and her writing snippets just please me much. It's so nice to every once in a while consume content that isn't all about blogging and just enjoy someone else's hard work, joy and passion, and I can do that through Alyssa's blog. OH, and she's writing a book and it's currently fabulous, so there's that too.
6. Reviews From a Bookworm
Charnell has been one of my blogging buddies for, what feels like forever, and I genuinely wouldn't have gotten to where I am without her. She's a full disclosure kind of blogger, she doesn't hold back, she says it as it is, and she's passionate over her books like a lion with it's prey, nobody touches her pretties. She's got a beautiful blog, an amazing, fangirling way with words, and I love hanging out on her blog, reading her reviews, checking out her discussions and getting down to the book hauls. Sure, she may vanish every now and again, but life gets in the way, you can't dislike her for that really.
7. Hayli De Jong
Hayli is one of the more newer editions to my feed; her posts frequently crop up in Blogger Love, and she's the creator of one my most recent ecourse endeavours - goes to show you just how fabulous she is. She cuts the crap, she gets down to business, and she's not set on making big bucks out of her blog, she's going where the tide takes her and inspires me, motivates me and gives me the power to make my blog what I want it to be. Oh, and she's got a simple blog style going too which just so wins.
8. A Branch of Holly
Holly is the most recent edition to my feed and I'm super ashamed it took me so long. She's such an honest blogger, and she's got so much experience in the things I love, in marketing, in social media, in promotions and design, she's without a doubt one of my favourites lately too, and she deserves to be. Simple design, simple content, super awesome motivation and subtle pep-talks, she's not only a great blogger for all the above, but she just makes me feel so much better about myself too, and right now, I need that.
9. Alexandra Franzen
Alexandra is another of those 'not my usual topics of interest, but what the heck' followings because when she does post her content, I'm always left feeling a little lighter, a little more capable, a little more human, and as though the world is my oyster. She has this way with words, simple words with impact, that really makes her blogs one of my favourite to spend hours exploring. From date nights, to social media, to marketing, to not giving up on anything, she's a motivational one woman machine, and I love her work.
10. The Middle Finger Project
Oh man, I swear Ash is the most 'don't give a fuck' woman I've ever known. She's brash, she's snarky, she's sarcastic, she's hilarious, she's honest, she's the kick up the ass everyone needs, and the tell-is-as-it-is lady friend you've always wanted. Every post hits the spot. Every piece of content is so Ash. Every social media update is so FUN. How did I find Ash, I'll never know, but she inspired me to cut the crap, use more me language and just spend more time being me, loving me, and sharing me, than more of the me I wanted to be. If you follow nobody else, follow her.
As today is Valentines, I have a little challenge for you all.. Tell five people you care about, love or appreciate, whether they be bloggers, book reviews, friends, family, your other half, etc, tell them how awesome they are, or how they make your down days a little brighter, or how you love whatever it is they do, or why they're simply awesome and share that love around. Valentines doesn't have to be just a commercially driven day, but it can be a day where you make somebody else's better, where you get to make someone smile, where you get to tell someone lonely that they don't need to be. Take the time to call out to those you love and think are amazing, and tell them. If not today, when?
Aww, thank you so much for featuring my blog <3 Jeann is SUCH a fabulous blogger I cannot even. I saw Josephine's bookstagrams in my Twitter TL the other day and was completely blown away! I just started on Hayli's course from one of your ecourse recommendation posts (I think?). And The Middle Finger Project sounds so intriguing, I'm definitely checking them out!
