January, at this point in the year, is right around the corner, and as much as we'd like to admit it, we're just so not prepared or ready to make as many plans as we'd like to, am I right? Even when we think about the goals we want to set ourselves (and we really should set them) having somewhere to store those goals, and to plan for the year in style is difficult.
Sure, diaries are good, but not great for me, I always end up filling them with rubbish, or just not filling them in at all, and there's plenty of blogging planners around that really rock your socks off, but I don't need motivation or tutorials in my planner, but for those who want something easy, low key and simple, there's a free blog planner available, and it's mine. I bring you the 2016 Blog Planner from Nellie and Co!
Now, first things first, let's talk a little about what's currently available.
The Blog Planner currently boasts:
- Weekly Overviews
- Double-Page Monthly Overviews
- Monthly Title Pages
- 2015/2016 Statistic Pages
- 2016 Goals Page
- 2016 Goal Tracker Page
- Blog Post Plotting Page
- Blog Post Checklist Page
- Post Idea Collection Page
- 2016 Google Analytics Page
But that's not all. Not only does it fit perfectly with my Goal Planner I released last week, but it also has complimentary 'book blogging' related pages for my book blogging related friends who want to track their books alongside their blog. For those bloggers, there's a:
- Books Read Tracking Page
- Books Bought Tracking Page
- ARC Read & Review Page
- Favourite Reads of 2016 Page
Sounds awesome, right? Let's take a sneak peak at some of those pages and why I created them shall we?
2015/2016 Statistic and Google Analytics Pages
I don't know if you've maybe noticed lately, but I have a serious aim to grow next year. I want to see more people come to Nellie and Co. and check out the content, and want to check out more in future. I want to help more people, provide more in depth, better quality information and tutorials, and I confess, I want to see my statistics grow and in order to see the improvement, I want to see where I currently stand and monitor my statistics on a regular basis.
With my 2015 Statistics Page near the front of my planner and my 2016 version near the back, I can get a direct comparison near the end of 2016 at how far I've come, or not come, and how much I've grown over time. I also wanted a sheet where I could track my Google Analytics over the year without having to check in and write my numbers on scraps of paper, so creating a sheet that could take me through the entire year, and only really require me to check once a month was a must, and it's definitely one of my favourite sheets, both in look and practicality.
Post Idea Collection Page
I don't know about you, but I'm always thinking of awesome ideas of posts, and too often I forget to actually make a note of the idea, and then it's gone forever. I wanted a place where I could store my post ideas so when inspiration hit hardest, I could get started right away, or when I'm running low on motivation and need some ideas fast, I have some to hand.
2016 Goal/Goal Tracker Pages
I talked about why setting blog goals was super important when I announced my Goal Planner, and I'm really ashamed that I never actually made any this year, but for 2016, I've got myself some dead set goals and I'm eager to see myself smash them. I wanted to create one sheet where I could keep a note of my goals for the year, and a second sheet where I can monitor my goals every month, most specifically the smaller goals I have for myself, checking them, ticking them off, or giving me a boost to do better.
Oh, but it gets better.
Throughout 2016, I'll be creating even more pages for the planner, and I want your suggestions. If you could have specific pages to help you stay organised, what would you choose? Would you choose a page to keep track of clients details, or would you want a a year at a glance page with every month all on one page instead? These pages will be created to help you be the best you possible next year, so don't be afraid to speak up and let me know. For now though, check out the whole planner below.
This looks so good! Thank you so much for creating this. I'll definitely be using it to help stay organized next year. :)
ReplyDeleteJust one thing - when I click on the links to the planner, it says I need permission. Is there anything I need to do?
I also had the same problem! And I'm not sure what to do either
DeleteSo sorry for the issue with downloading and permission, I had an issue with the link and sharing, however, that is now fixed, so you can now download the complete planner! Thank you so much for your kind words though Emz, I' so pleased you're eager to use it! :)
DeleteWow it looks amazing! It's so awesome of you to share it with everyone too! I definitely think I'm going to use it for blogging next year! It's super helpful, I was actually going to look for a blog planner I could download, but now I don't even have too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Maya! I really wanted to make sure other people could be as organised and set for the New Year as I am, so hopefully you really enjoy it! :)
Delete*whispers* I think you forgot to turn on link sharing. BUT THAT'S OKAY. The wait makes it all the more worthwhile -- and gosh, this looks SO FABULOUS. The section especially for book bloggers will be super handy as I try to review more often. And a post idea collection page is simply THE BEST.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for putting this together, Amanda -- super excited to grab a copy!
I did indeed Alyssa, I'm really embarrassed, but thank you for being supportive. Also, thank you for your kind words, hopefully when you check it out you'll really enjoy using it! :)
DeleteI was looking for a way to get more organized next year. I'm starting a new job and I definitely need to get more strict with a schedule to stay on top of blogging. I'm going to check out your planner and try it out, to see if this is going to work for me. I always love to have schedules, ideas and stuff like that on paper and this looks so organized and easy to use :) Thank you so much!
